Did you learn how to apply LipSense® from a review?

Did you never really learn how to use LipSense®? 

I myself have watched many YouTube reviews. During these reviews I find many people missing some vital steps. This could be because of their own error or was never told the correct steps. It does take time to get used to the application process, but let’s begin to ensure you are actually applying correctly.

Step 1 – CLEAN LIPS

Not I wiped with my hands kind of clean, but witch hazel and water clean. After applying makeup there is going to be foundation and powder and after eating there is going to be residue left behind. Clean thoroughly.

Step 2 – SHAKE SKAKE SHAKE

Did I mention you need to SHAKE IT. Not for 2 seconds either, like a good 10 – 20 seconds. You will be grateful. This will allow the ingredients to fully mix. This also will lessen the smell if you do smell anything.

Step 3 – SCRAPE EXCESS

DO NOT pull out the wand and start applying. Scrape the excess from the wand back into the bottle. Not scraping the excess will leave thick layers on your lips and cause peeling.

Step 4 – 3 THIN LAYERS

If you followed step 3, then this step is easy. Apply 3 thin layers.

Step 5 – GO IN THE SAME DIRECTION

DO NOT go back and forth… As tempting as it may be. Go in one direction. You may need to swipe a lip twice depending on how big your lip is.

Step 6. ALLOW TO DRY

Allow the layers to dry 5 – 10 seconds before doing the next layer and before applying gloss.

Step 7. APPLY GLOSS

After the final layer has dried 10-20 seconds, apply your gloss. This will seal in the color and take the “stickiness” away. Also apply gloss before and after meals to protect them from oils and grease.
